Who we are, What we do, What we offer...
The Black Business Networking Social Events (BBNSE) is a faith-based collective of business owners, artists, and entertainers dedicated to networking, collaboration, and community impact. Founded in 2020 during the pandemic, BBNSE began as a platform to support entrepreneurs, many of whom were navigating challenges or starting home-based businesses for the first time.
Hosted in my home, the initial gatherings provided a space for vendors to showcase their products and services, attendees to shop and network, and aspiring entrepreneurs to launch their ventures. With delicious food, dynamic entertainment, and a spirit of collaboration, BBNSE quickly became a community hub for fostering connections and empowering one another.
Today, BBNSE continues to grow as a vibrant network, offering opportunities for business exposure, collaboration, and cultural enrichment. Each event is designed to uplift and inspire, including our upcoming Black History: Then and Now celebration on February 22, 2025, which honors past legends, highlights emerging leaders, and promotes economic equity through vendor showcases and networking.

In August 2022, the BBNSE expanded its reach, hosting events in partnership with local venues to showcase Arts & Entertainment, provide vendor opportunities, and create a space for collaboration and community impact. Now based at EpiQ Food Hall in Woodbridge, Virginia, our events thrive in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere perfect for vendors, artists, and performers across all genres.
Our first major event in 2022 was an All-White Jazz Brunch featuring 21 vendors and an unforgettable performance by saxophonist Tony Gatlin, whose smooth sounds captivated the audience. It set the tone for what BBNSE represents—celebrating creativity, culture, and connection. Since then, we’ve added
new recording artists of various genres to our lineup, further showcasing the diverse talent within our community.
Today, BBNSE hosts quarterly events in February, May, August, and November, each designed to uplift businesses, artists, and the community. Join us as we work together to support one another and create opportunities that level the economic playing field.

The Black Business Networking Social Events, BBNSE, exists to bring minority business owners, artists and entertainers together to network, encourage, inspire, collaborate and support one another in business and in life. We can likely all agree that business ownership and entrepreneurship can be daunting and solitary, especially if you do not have a team yet. The BBNSE will be like your team and assist you in building your own personal team.
We aim to impact our community by providing excellent products, services, gifts, and talents. We believe that teamwork makes the dream work. Each business owner represents a family and a dream. Dreams do come true when we work hard for what we want and work together to achieve them.
The mission of the BBNSE is to assist business owners in having a platform that is a safe place to learn, develop & grow as well as to buy & sell products and services. We are networking and collaborating from both business to business as well as business to consumer. We can only have a healthy, vibrant community when each of us is healthy and whole. We must pour out to the community from a full cup! The BBNSE strives to fill you up!

Holiday BAE: A Night of Music, Empowerment, and Inspiration
The BBNSE Holiday BAE, held this past November, was a heartwarming and electrifying event that showcased the incredible talents of local artists while celebrating community and faith. The evening featured a stunning lineup of performances that left the audience inspired and empowered.
Angel Griggs Spann delivered soul-stirring holiday hymns and music that brought a heartfelt spirit of the season to life. Hannah G captivated the crowd with her powerful and uplifting voice, delivering a performance that commanded attention and left everyone feeling inspired.
Nate World Changer amazed with his lyrical genius, blending thought-provoking messages with beats that made you move and reflect simultaneously. His music struck the perfect balance between relatable storytelling and rhythmic energy.
The night concluded with Renaaz, the Gumbo Soul artist, who brought an unforgettable message of empowerment. Teaching about the sword and our authority as believers, he inspired the audience to stand strong in their faith. His performance of "The Well" was a powerful and uplifting anthem that left everyone spiritually recharged.
Holiday BAE was more than an event; it was an experience that united the community through the arts, faith, and the joy of the season.
